One-Day Workshop for Counsellors & Psychotherapists - Trainees Welcome
About This Workshop:
An intensive, therapeutically informed one-day workshop designed to deepen understanding of eating disorders and enhance clinical practice.
In today’s climate of rising anxiety, social comparison, and identity challenges, eating disorders are increasingly prevalent. Beneath behaviours such as restriction, bingeing, or control lie complex psychological and relational dynamics. This workshop supports practitioners to work more confidently with these complexities.
Eating disorders often present alongside other difficulties such as anxiety, depression, and relational challenges, meaning they can remain hidden or unrecognised within clinical work. Without specialist understanding, the underlying meaning of these symptoms may be missed, leaving both client and practitioner feeling stuck.
Pre-Workshop Reading Material:
Participants will receive reading material in advance to support learning and discussion.
This workshop aims to support practitioners in recognising these patterns, deepening therapeutic insight, and responding with greater confidence and sensitivity.
Who Is This Workshop For?
